Product Suggestions

Here are some suggestions from consultants and customers on different ways to use our products.  If you have made one of our mixes differently than suggested and had great results, please share them with us!  Enjoy!

Beer Bread  Instead of Beer, I used the same amount of root beer and about 1 Tbsp of cinnamon. I also put butter over the top too, which made a crispier crust.~Margaret

Cheesy Garlic Breadmaker Mix  I used the bread machine to mix the bread, but then rolled the dough out on a cookie sheet, cut with a pizza cutter into 1 1/2 inch wide strips, and baked in the oven for breadsticks!  ~Margaret

Chicken Enchilada Soup Mix  Left over soup, add some more chicken and make "regular" enchiladas. (To start from scratch, decrease the amount of water added.)~Chris
Chunky Chicken Noodle Soup  In place of the water, add a can of cream of chicken soup to make a creamy chunky chicken noodle soup.  ~Terri

Cocoa  When using any of the cocoas if you want a little extra boost and burst of flavor try adding a shot of fresh brewed espresso. Then top it off with whipped cream and shaved chocolate.~  Melodie

Creamy Chipotle Dip  I placed a Chicken in the Crockpot sprinkled with a little salt and pepper.  Place the Chipotle Dip in 2 cups of hot water and then poured it over the chicken.  Basting several times the remaining juice I used in place of water when I made Rice or you can place 1 cut of rice (washed) into the crockpot along with the chicken about 2 hours prior to removing chicken (check water you may need to add 1 or 2 cups more water).  ~Julene

Jalapeno Ranch Dip For homemade salsa, mix with large can of crushed or diced tomatoes. Stir well. Chill for 1 hour before serving~Sherry

Add 1 package of Jalapeno Ranch Dip to your shake n bake mix for chicken. Cook as normal.  ~Sherry
Pecan Pie Muffins  Cook in an 8 or 9 inch cake pan, the kind you usually use two of to bake a double layer package cake mix in. I baked it about 20 minutes at the same temp as the directions said. It was not a very thick cake, maybe about 1 1/2 or 2". But it was just right for cutting a slice with coffee or tea. It seemed to cook very well.  ~Laurie

Pecan Pie Muffins  Add about a quarter cup of milk to make these delicious muffins lighter and fluffy.  ~Susan

Spanish Augratin Rice Mix  I also add black beans and tortilla chips.  ~Lisa
